Elin Skoglund and Edward Anderzon are certified tradition bearers, Riksspelmän,
of Swedish folkmusic from the provinces of Uppland and Södermanland.
Both play several types of nyckelharpas and Edward also plays the violin.
In 2006 they were awarded "Nordic champions of playing for dancing".
They both work as musicians and teachers and have had workshops, dances and concerts in Sweden, in Canada and in USA.
Read the articles and watch some videos from their US tour 2007:
Elin & Edward also play together with the guitarr and double base player Niklas Willén in the group ENE , which can be heard at myspace .
The following has been said about their cd:
"Elin & Edward perform both vibrant and elegant tunes on their record
'Låtar från ost' ('Eastern tunes'). You seldom hear such tight ensemble -
sometimes you think they are speaking with one voice - and together they pace so steadily that you can hardly imagine
a dance floor they wouldn't conquer! The record is a varied and very pleasant listening
experience where the legacy from old nyckelharpa and violin heroes such as Eric Sahlström
and Anton Jernberg finds new expressions."
